Odd Odyssey Poet
Poems
Dec 2020
Ocean tears
Cry me a river,
indeed if you may.
Still unlike you,
mine is much an ocean
Of many pains, hurts, and along with little happiness.
The body of water
goes lost at sea
Only as a drop in the ocean
does the body know my tear.
Vast of the likeness,
likely to all who understand a few pain,
It's vastness broad for all,
so perhaps some of us hurt the same.
Still despite the massive strength
of all the waves,
I've walked into the ocean's tears unafraid.
