Jul 2013
I drown myself in sorrow,
at the bottom of this glass.
I drink away the pain,
and lay down in the grass.
I think of what you told me,
the night under the stars.
You said you'd hold me close,
now I sit alone in bars.
I called out your name once,
in hopes of a goodbye.
I thought I heard you call back,
I thought I heard you cry.
