No.
Don’t.
Don’t think about it
Not now
Not ever
But the truth is, she will always be thinking of it
It is stained in her mind, her heart forever

She goes off to a better world,
Filled with beauty, adventure
But is always brought back to reality

Darkness covers her light
Screams cover her laughter

Then it happens all over again
What she saw that changed her life forever
Is the lingering nightmare
Always held before her
Being a young poet, I would Love to hear your views on any of my poetry.
Thank you for reading!
