If she knew, if she could see me
There would be such a reverie
If she knew, if she could see me
Then her heart could fly free
For she would never want
and she would never need
And she would never cry except for me
If she knew, she could so fly so high
and touch the stars way up in the sky
if she knew if she could see me
Then her heart could fly free
And she would laugh and she would sing
and would not want for any thing
and she would never cry oooh no...
unless she cried for me
