Jul 2013
words go dry
before they leave the mouth
the will to write has gone
the stories have left me
the minds distract
the heart, intact
no emotional ups or downs
no feverish laughs
no sobbing sounds
time finally learned to freeze
and the words go dry
in the riverbed of thought
a desert landscape
until a monsoon comes again
to drown it
in new metaphors
