To have no warm desire
For the all-bright sunny rays,
Is to accord that inner cold
The dignity it does not hold.
It is only an ugly thought;
Shadows behind the door,
A cloud to be blown away.
Just give a current of breeze:
A rub-on here and kick-out there.
Set the plain and stake the dreams,
And your heat is back again.
