Kiss of Death
I remember that day.
The day my heart died.
You walked by my side.
I felt like I was floating.
You grabbed my hand.
You turned me around.
Then it happened.
The kiss of death.
Your kiss was the sweetest taste.
So much emotion was poured out.
My heart stopped.
I forgot how to breath.
Your kiss soon became cold.
Your passion burned out.
Now the memory kills me.
The thought of your lips brings pain.
The kiss that once stopped my heart,
Ended my life once and for all.
My very being gone with you.
Nothing is left but the dark memory.
