I'm a girl with glasses,
the one they call a freak.
I'm a girl who never smiles,
'cause I've got braces on my teeth.
I'm the girl up on that playground
who's always chosen last.
'Cause they all assume,
she don't run too fast.
I'm a teenage girl
who's always looking back.
Trying to figure out her faults,
and learn from her past.
You don't got to be my friend,
but is that too much to ask.
Don't laugh at me,
and don't call me names.
Its in God's eyes,
where we're all the same.
One day I'll have a pair of wings...
But don't laugh at me.
