She has no passion for what she lost
for it came at much too high a cost
walking in footprints of years far gone
she never realized what it'd mean to be alone
Holding on to yester years
drowning in her never ending fears
she's but a shadow of who she was
for she gave up on everything that she loved.
When you let everything fade away
and live in the mistakes of yesterday
you become a shadow jut like she
Oh God! how could this be?
She has no passion for what she gave away
her vision blurs from the pain of yesterdays
sometimes when trying to move on
you realize your heart is too far gone.
They had no passion for what she lost.
For bringing her back came at much too high a cost.
