Anger whipping through her veins
like a burning poison when it rains
rains down the fire escape,
wake up before it's too late
the sun lays down in icy death
it burns with passion for those who left.
Left the world of hopes and dreams
where nothing is ever as it seems.
The fiery passion in her eyes,
slowly dims as they die
Death blackens the world we know
It makes holes in pure white snow.
Snow that was so innocent
has come down in the descent.
Now she lays down, a crimson flow
as the innocence of a naΓ―ve woman dies in the snow
she sees now the world as it is
and wonders how it ever came to this
so now she whispers in her sleep
for safety and her soul to keep.
Anger whipping through her veins
like a burning poison when it rains.
