Little Girl

Hush now little girl, Mama's coming home tonight, Hooded in a bad robe, Shining her red eyes. Don't cry little girl, Daddy's not too far away, He's listening to the prayers, That escape out with your sighs. Follow me little girl, Crawl into my veins, Feel my silent heart beat, The bloodless broken saint. Open your eyes girl, There's a sun out there for you, Buried in golden meadows, Reaching out through the blue. Don't look back at yesterday, Don't think about tomorrow, Just let the moment slip away, It's time for you to go. Come now little girl, Embrace me skin to skin, Above the icy ashes, The ashes of your sins. Sleep now little girl, The night has just begun, The other side clouds above you, You will live again.
