Have you felt endless sadness my friend?
Where your heart felt shrunken,
Your breathing makes it worse,
And you’re at the verge of tears,

But on the outside it’s different,
You have a blank stare on your face,
Oh how well you pretend,
Your lips left no trace of sorrows,

Have you felt this pain inside your chest?
A heavy weight set upon it,
The little gasps of air could not resolve,
And hope is all that is left,

You’re left hoping,
That every breath that escapes you,
Would be the last one you took,
And maybe then this sadness will end.
