ISLANDS I woke up swimming In a vast ocean Where words were islands I could feel their waves, Concentric and strong As in island Pleasure I found calmness Between Sound and Silence A bit farther the agitation the rough waters that separate Love and Hate I felt stillness between two islets One in front of the other the word Kiss and the word Death. I arrived to Surrender And sat calmly For the first time Then I swam to a piece of land Enthusiasm Until a silver gull Rescued me in its wings And took me to a great place An island called Horizon There I lay down on the shore And stayed LHL Oct 13, 2020
