Here** laying with wide open eyes
listening to the rain
fall down to earth
to your window and mine

Here not where I should be
watching the rain
wash what seems like forever
from these cracks in my head
washing away the cobwebs
that alcohol couldn't remove
only misplace

Here standing, drowning
in the rain and
underneath this burden
of missing you
my new nine to five
