Goodbye Poem
I'll miss your grey shirt
for no reason at all
The baseball field where we kissed
I think in the fall
On a day like this
not too long ago
skin touched fingertips
but worry takes control
I worried
I'm sorry
No you don't know
you'll never know
I'll miss that hello romance night
where it first began
Remember my happy dance
well I'll never dance again
When you put flowers in my hair
you kissed me like there was no air
now my tears are just everywhere
It fell apart
I'm to blame
time to depart
say my name
Whisper it slow
I don't want to go
and for no reason at all
it really hurts to fall
when you're on your own
One of the many super old poems I found in my old notebook.
