This pain
The rarest thing is missing you
Holding you the way I did
Touching you the way I did.
Looking into your eyes
And wondering what is going through your  mind
Do you really care about me?
Or are you just bored and want me back?
Did you ever love me,
The way I loved you?
Would you ever understand
this pain you cause me?
This pain to wanting to hold you again
To touch you once more
The need to put my head on your chest  and listen to your heart beat over and over
That melodious rhythm that God created
But these scars remain
This pain you caused me
Still lingers within
Deep down this hurts
When I think back on everything
Yet in my heart
This love remains
Why?
I can’t comprehend.
But part of me wants to do this all over again
Whilst part of me remembers all the pain.
