You’ve seen the sky
through a thin blanket of saltwater,
and it is so inviting.
Full, wet clouds promise to keep
thirst way. Birds call
out for friendship, and
the thick blue is spacious
enough to grow the seeds
of a new home.

The sky promises every thing,
so when the net comes
to whisk you from your life,
you let it.
Fins at your side and gills wide
open to let all of heaven in.
