If I could only hold this note
So you could find your way back home
Back to a place when you were young
When love is all there ever was

You stole a kiss, I can’t forget it
The one that started this connection
I swear it’s true but I don’t know
I just hope you feel it too

I don’t know what to do
Sit here patiently for you
I know that I can’t force change
I wouldn’t dare it, all the same
I just want to love you, as you are
Only you
Why do we make it difficult
It’s only love, that’s it that’s all

I hope you see your sisters face
Light up on your wedding day
So she can see the one I love
How proud she is, you’re all grown up

It doesn’t matter where we go
It will follow, if you sow
I’m just trying to trust this
But my patience wearing thin
