Sep 2020
the skies bled out
heading far South
chasing the polar lights
an energy so strong
resembling a geomagnetic storm
a force I could barely fathom
weakening the magnetosphere
peeling it open like an onion
all the stars outshined
leaving them smoldering with envy
sunspotting in the galaxy
slowly losing their luster
and collapsing into dwarfness.
thereβ€˜s just something in the way
your flickering lights enchant the naked eye
like dancing glittery curtains across the night sky...
I am utterly besotted by you.
