I'm Going On

Don't worry about me.

I'll find my dream,

In my own time,

At my own pace.

Don't dwell on it.

I can muddle through,

Search where I want,

Find my own place.

I can figure things out,

Don't doubt me and my abilities.

It's the love for that dream that keeps me sane.

Gives me the strength to journey on.

I can handle things alone.

Don't think I can't choose.

It's my gift of balance that drives me.

Gives me the wisdom to decipher right from wrong.

Pinky Promise.

I'll stop if I think I've gone too far.

You know me,

I can see when something doesn't fit.

Cross My Heart.

I'll give it up if it isn't right.

But I have to fight,

To take the leap and go for it.
