Blank Face
The forest unwittingly
Became an avatar of duality.
Both guest and host to horrific ******
Nature had deceptively
Deprived their sensibility
Their bodies prisons for empathy
Unable to respond independently,
They relied on reciprocity
To express ideas and memories.
The evergreens inadvertently
Complimented the organs of humanity
In a cacophony of fauna and feces.
An alliance unwillingly
inert, rooted in the depravity,
Stood expressionless in the breeze
Dissonant notes harshly
Emphasized by natural serenity,
Echoed morbidly off the attendees.
Branches swayed gently,
An ignored reactionΒ of sensitivity,
As gore saturated soil in unease
The rustle of leaves softly
Protested the atrocity
Witnessed by the trees
This sightless audience stoicly
Observed the display of barbarity,
An exhibit of ****** in degrees
