Window Dressing
The portraits & prints hang on the wall she never noticed them at all.
Window dressing. Playing house.
They stare back at her and deride.
Can you see me now? They inquire.
We are what is left.
Casualties of the struggle.
Still suspended.
On wire.
The beat goes on.
The bird sing gayly.
Clearly , life is a novela.
How many chapters
To this tale.
