She screams
so loud you cringe
and cover your ears; then
she cries,
and the sound breaks your heart,
but there is nothing you can do.
So you scream.
Hearing the sound, she stops and
she sings,
because she wants to see you smile.
Then she remembers:
Love isn't real.
Hope dies too quickly.
Smiles don't last forever.
So she stops singing
and she screams.
I feel like I could do so much more with this poem, but I can't seem to come up with anything. If you have any ideas, feel free to let me know.
