I looked up to the stars that night
So bright was their shining light
From a far everything seemed alright
But it was just the beginning of a night
These stars were a reminder
With their beaming glow
Their light darkness would hinder
But still the current would flow
These stars were my witness
For I would look up to them
Not sure if they new about my sickness
But still I looked up for them
Twinkle twinkle little star I'd say
Trying to hold the tears within
All over my eye bags they'd lay
Revealing the hurt from within
So I would try to form figures
And still look for my initials
But so dim was my vigor
Nothing to offer credentials
The hurt grew bigger and bigger
It was like they were making a formation
So I went on creating the pictures
Trying to get a proclamation
But the clouds big clouds came in
Covering up my precious little stars
So slowly they began to sink in
Leaving only tiny bits of sparks
Then I knew the end was near
For darkness was all over the place
My legs trembled and shook in fear
For it gave me the feeling of being hit by a mace
So shattered were my dreams
As I watched the night turn light blue
