Green sprouts emerge.
Magically rising out of the soil,
competing with the weeds.
Tomatoes stretch out, beans squirm upwards.
Melons, squash, lettuce, and onions rise up
towards the sun and the sky.
Soon to bear fruit.
I am witness to a future feast!
