Oh Little Pussycat

Oh little pussycat

Staring at me.

Why don’t you go outside

And climb into a tree.

Oh I know why,

But please don’t cry

If I tell you the real cause.

We’re stuck in town,

Where there’s no tree’s,

And no room for tidy lawns!!

What a shame little pussycat

That I can’t let you out,

But if you promise to behave yourself,

I promise I won’t shout.

I’ll let you out when you’re old enough,

And when we get a new home,

But for now you’re stuck in this dingy flat,

Until you’re good and grown!!
