This house isnt warm
And the chimney that once poured light and steam is tired and overdrawn
People come and go
Leaving articles of clothes
In every room
no privacy left for the freedom of your thoughts
To roam
Only scars overgrown
Then torn open
Over and over
You sit in the window dull and lifeless
You bang and smash against the glass
But it doesnt seem like its
Going to give
The people walk through
And you are starved
One throws you some old bread
And you devour it before you can think
And then you are theres to keep
For that night
Because going hungry for so long
Made you forget whats good for you
And this cold house has robbed of you
The steam that powers
The engine of your mind
Just always remember
When your most hungry
Usually what you really need
Is a cool glass of water
Playing with a few metaphors just an experiment
