I used to think your skin
Was sewn of dreamcatchers’ thread.
I used to think your words
Were all tiny bones that made up my spine.
I used to think your heartbeat
Was the axis of the earth.
But now I see you for what you are.
And what you are is
A pebble in my mind.
Life is the ocean.
