Ink
I crave the reckless abandon I once tasted on your skin,
and the untamed wilderness in your eyes,
You captured sunshine in the palm of your hand,
I fell in love 'neath lavender skies.
I could travel barefoot through your mind for hours,
get lost on the sea of your voice,
Tiptoe and pluck your thoughts like flowers,
you really didn't give me much of a choice.
Oh you dark magic weaver,
who made me think,
That you were more than just a heart breaking leaver,
But now you're just some paper and dried up ink.
