I honestly don't know what it means
To have someone gaze at you because they just want to
I don't know what it feels like
To have someone notice every detail about you
The phrases you love to use
How your smile starts small then grows wider
The curvature of you hips
The sounds and movements you make in your sleep
I don't know what it's like
To feel confident
To have someone backing you up
Someone to remind you who you are
Someone to remind you that you belong somewhere
All I know are these cuts on my legs
And the hurt in my heart
Because anything that's ever mattered to me
Has disappeared
