Nature walk
Trees everywhere i look
The flowing stream is all I hear
A scene out of a story book
All that is missing is you right here.
Walking on the gravel path
Chirping birds like wind chimes
Takes my sense away from life's wrath
And to nature's intimate sets of rhyme.
With the sun in my eyes at dawn
And the moon and stars at dusk
Diversity in flora and fauna
The scent of nature's calming musk.
Then back to reality I go
Knowing that I had good self-talk
Hoping to go back to nature's toe
And once again go on a nature walk.
