Sad poem from the lonely to the kissable

Kiss my frowning ****

face

and place your tongue in my

mouth

spin it around enough times

to replicate how many times

I thought of you today (continuously)

If I get to kiss you again

I’ll make sure you taste me like

raspberries (sour and sweet)

If I get to see you again

I’ll make sure you see me like

full moon (dark and light)

If I get to speak to you again

I’ll make sure you hear me like

mercury (silver and maddening)

and I’ll trade my whole ocean

for the slow waves of your quiet skin

against mine.
