That smile you have
Twisting upwards,
Taking your eyes with it
That smile you have
clean and warm
Like humid air
Hiding shy teeth
That peek from beneath
That smile you have
Makes me feel like melting butter,
Or a whistling tea kettle,
Cold ice cubes & over grown grass.
that smile you have
with downy, soft colored lips,
never cracks like a long desert hiking path.
Like my legs smelling of shaving cream, velvety and easy to touch. With out the threat of prickles tomorrow.
That smile you have
Makes me want to approach you and lift my hand up to hold your face,
Never has true joy been so explicit,
harsh yet kind,
like the languid hot grains of sand, weaving their way,
listlessly,
between toes and finger nails.
