Jun 2013
colors fade and
words soften
bones tire the night
after a party....

the pleasure of shaking hands
seeing familiar faces and
meeting new smiles
dulls...

all the beer evaporates in our liver
all the hash drifts out our brain
entropy sets in
like jack and jill after rolling down the hill...

the vibration of the all-night music
is but a tingle in the back of the ears
as yesterday seems like a fading echo....
