I constantly asked why I’m not good enough, living in fear
Why didn’t you love me, the way I loved you?
Is there something I could say, something I could do?
I would’ve done almost anything to keep you with me
I tried everything I could to get you to see
That this is fucking worth it, there was something special to grow
We could’ve made permanent, our beautiful flow
My heart saw no limits, I knew you were great
The distance was shitty but you were worth the wait
It hurts to let you go, but this caused so much pain
I may have loved you, but you didn’t feel the same
I’m strong enough to walk away, to remember my soul
