Poems
Jul 2020
alcoholic losses
a small insanity still holds me,
but i wrangle less for you.
i breathe a little more,
a slowly closed door.
soon the ice will coat the frame.
safe and sound, sometimes tame.
i pray the day i lose your name.
some nights i still burn alive,
that silent illness i survive.
alcohol already there,
before you arrived.
