If the arms of the clock could resist
Only then would you see
A frown turned upside down
And a soul full of wonder.

In a time when woes were few
And the years had not gone by
Was a boy with the purest heart
And eyes that glowed so bright.

The only fear in sight
Was the fear of fear itself
All foes were still unknown
And trouble was yet to come.

If the grains of time had stood still
Long enough for you to see
There would be no need for explaining
And everything would just be.

From the port side,
Looking into the terrifying sea
The world has no place to hide
From what the future brings you to see.
Drawing inspiration from my youth.
