Jun 2013
A star exploded before me
its dying life seeped tendrils
out
so far
it reached my earthly eyes.
The heat from its extinction
burned me
like a melting candle I seeped
between
the floorboards
dripping hardened
wax onto your face.
staining both wood
and carpet below.
