The memories of that night were hazy
In the void lit by supernovas and melodies
My mind was going positively crazy
But I remember that her name was Mandy
The one who changed my life forever

Mandy’s eyes were for mine and mine for her’s
It did not take much for me to fall into her lips
With one kiss, she took me for a ride
My heart burst into flames, an aurora untamed
She leaned forward, and whispered into my ear
“Welcome to my world, the world of the living”

Mandy takes my hand in her’s
Locked into her orbit,
The melodies become hypnotic
The supernovas become alpha and omega
The percussion becomes the beat of my heart

The people look at us
Their faces in bliss
Same as Mandy and I
They smile

But all good things come to an end
The supernovas burn out
The melodies fade into silence
The void collapses into itself
And with them goes Mandy’s love
Her eyes flicker and fade
The look of love and warmth
Replaced by eyes of shame
Through my tears I watch her leave
Joy and bliss become lost to the void
Not cherished as memories
But rather lost to eternity

But I know that sooner or later
She’ll crawl her way to me again
And I’ll come crawling back to her
My mate says I should wait a few months
But we both know that won’t be the case
Mandy is a pain in the jaw
But she is the ecstacy for my heart
