Our Observances

In the desire to observe In the desire to show love There’s only one you should serve One over all put above But flesh is so desperate and weak Your heart not one can discern With pride it cannot be meek To badness will always return Remember me don’t let me wander To the places my heart wants to go My life force don’t let me squander And victory’s give out to your foe I know that there’s nothing within me That’s useful to filling your goal Can evil and devotion agree? So death claims us all in its toll Then when a visit at midnight The enemy we cannot decline Who comes to our bed without invite? No mercy in all his design And so look to me with your pity Don’t give me the things I deserve And let me enter that city And with heart mind and soul let me serve
