Untouch Me
Remove the traces of your ***** paws
off of me
Remove the prints of the palm of your hand covering my mouth to silence me
Wash away the lust in your eyes as you stare at my panic stricken face
Put away the weapon that threatens to take my life if I scream
Look at me
Look into my soul
I carry burdens that weigh more than your aroused body on me
I carry the fires that burn cities down
I carry the water that floods nations
I carry the voice of generations
And yet you want to silence me
My body is not yours
I owe you nothing
I will not be quiet
I will not go down without a fight
I will fight till the very end
And once my last stifled breath leaves my aching body
Know that you have declared war
Know that you have given voices to those who were afraid
You may have taken my last breath but I will not be silenced
Nations and generations will speak for me
Protests and riots will rise in my name
Voices will scream for justice
The echoes will be just as loud
So I repeat, the prints of your palm may be etched on my skin
Silencing my cries
But you will never silence the uproar for justice in my name
