Sometimes you will go through times that cast dark shadows on your soul,
and you may not know if the day will come again when you can feel whole,
but given time the light will shine and warm your soul again,
the question that you need to ask is not if? But when?
Your thoughts may feel muted as if they cannot breathe, some days you will hear truths you won’t want to believe, some days you will not even see as you sleep the whole day through, as you feel such exhaustion you never thought could be true.
Tears will flow from your eyes and fall so very hard, your heart will ache with sadness and feel as if it is scarred, you will wonder why it must be so as time rolls by both fast and slow, a stranger to a cold, cold world you didn’t think you could know.
It may all feel pointless, you may not feel at all, you may just want to curl right up into a little ball. You may feel weak, you may feel strong, whatever you feel it is never wrong.
