Racism isn’t right
I know your mad but do things bright
Protest and do not fight
If you listen to me and turn me on like a light
George Floyd has died
And I know you cried
What to cop did was wrong
And I know your angry
You try to watch the yankee
But then you think about Breonna Taylor’s death
Don’t get mad just take a deep breath
Then you watch the video of Ahmaud Arbery again
But it still can’t get it into your brain
Your like why
But don’t sit there and just sigh
It’s definitely not fair
They will pay I swear
But you then think of the last words of George Floyd
β€œI can’t breath”
Then your anger goes up again
But I’m going to teach you how to maintain
Just close your eyes and think
But your mind is saying this sh*t stinks
But just ease your mind and take a drink
But your standing in front of your kitchen sink
And the words black lives matters come to your mind
You don’t want to express your feelings from doing something bad I know your very mad
Just take a poster
And right the word black lives matter go outside
Protest and do it the right
Black lives matter!
