And. I. Wait.
And I stood there in horror
As a wave of gruesome terror
Came upon me all around
Staring me down
Like emptiness itself was looking through me
I froze
In a deadly silence
Soon filled by the sound of my racing heartbeat
My muscles tearing themselves apart
My bones rattling
My very senses distorted
With eyes everywhere
Creeping up on me
The shadows of darkness
Sending chills down my spine
locking my eyelids shut
A stab of pain goes through my veins
Like lightning inside my head
My heart is jammed
Hard like a stone
Under pressure
Cold sweat pours
And tears crash to the floor
My lungs gasping for air
Which seems out of reach
My vision blurs
I know it's all over
I accept my fate
See my life passing by
And. I. Wait.
My phobia of the dark, this is exactly how it was, how it still is...
