This girl, new to the world
She cries out for comfort
Eyes sparkle, a gorgeous girl
Extremely lively for a little squirt

Grown up, she somehow made the bad, good
This girl turned frowns upside down
She was out making miracles in the hood
And spreading Christianity in this sinful town

She led so many to God
And was perfect in every way
One of the few who weren't blindly flawed
And one of the few who wouldn't stray

She stayed true and loyal
Faithful to the one who made her
Never thought that she was princess royal
But instead a servant to the God of the Earth

She volunteered at foster homes
And helped all who were lonely
Making the forgotten feel known
And the sinful turn into holy

This was her choice
To be great and all that she could be
Everyone who heard her voice
Would rejoice and feel free

Her friends loved her much
Her husband and children did too
She seemed to have God's loving touch
Enough to make the world new

But this perfect little girl that once was
And all of her good has turned into distortion
She would've brought so many to God
If only her mother had not chosen abortion
