I protest the chain of love
My love, I am sorry if I had hindered you
I protest the chain of love
Love doesn't hold fear my dear
only darkness that stands so near
Fear is the courses that run through one's veins
of what holds to one's soul and kills out the light
Anxiety wraps around the cord of one's heart
and chokes love out that is not nice
Love is something of true beauty
something everyone dreams of
Love is something everyone fights about
Love is the key to one's soul
so never let your love end in fear
because darkness always stands near
I had always wondered
would you put me in such a state of mind
to ever be unkind putting our love in shame
giving love the blame
I know the pain and I felt the burning of its power
how it hurts and cuts so deep
it will all leave you to bleed
Darlings hold on to love and never let it fade
darkness is not the place you want to leave your faith
because only trouble will come your way
this darkness is a scandal place
it will eat away at your heart
until there is nothing left to give
always learn to forgive
because Love is a true gift.
