I'm sinking again
and I don't know where you are.
I need you to be here;
to keep me safe in your arms
and tell me it's all going to be okay.
I need you to stop me drowning;
I can't drown again.
I'm isolating,
my head screaming '*******'
to anyone who isn't you.
I need your voice to whisper to me,
to pull me out of the dark
so that I can drown in your arms instead.
