Unquenched Drive
Love, lust, pride, and power
All humans wish to have this devoured.
To have this a-flamed beast gone
It will come back after long.
This drive on an uncertain path
It drives one insane.
We watch ourselves solve the math
And let drive rip us in pain.
Such animals we let ourselves become
We try to fly so high.
Try to capture the sun
Only to tell our loved ones goodbye.
