For the latest global craze, let us not forget, that even in darkness, there's always the stars. And we may lose everything else but love is always free. We're in this together

"Holding Hands Across the World"

When will we learn
That cities were not meant to burn
It's not our way, it's not our kind
Have we left our shame behind

Why don't we handle it with care
To stretch a hand to our fellow man
To lend a ear to anyone there
What happened here

Things are different
Than yesterday
It seems all our hopes and dreams
Have flown away
I don't remember the world we're in
When will it end
And it doesn't sound so absurd
Holding hands across the world

Mother earth is dying
It's time we make a stand
And raise a glass
To the spirit good of man

Where did we go wrong
To leave love out of the world
Do we belong
Or are we mixed in with the herd

Things are different
Than yesterday
It seems all our hopes and dreams
Have flown away
I don't remember the world we're in
When will it end
And it doesn't sound so absurd
Holding hands across the world

Smoke clouds the sky
As Choppers fill the air
I ask myself why
Nobody cares
For this generation

Things are different
Than yesterday
It seems all our hopes and dreams
Have flown away
I don't remember the world we're in
When will it end
And it doesn't sound so absurd
Holding hands across the world
