In a darkened room abandon, confused
beyond the reach of faith
my soul is absorbed in darkness
Lies the wounded, shattered my heart
the voice that runs into the dark
his eyes remain of love betrayed
the innocence of a child is bought and sold
to life so cold with so many demands
The rage of an angels left silent in chains
in a cold darken room
Forgive me please for I know not what I do
How can I keep inside the hurt I know is true
I look around to see where this innocent voice is coming from
then I go into silence and that voice is my inner self
crying out for the help of my innocents.
